Just when the entertainment industry in Eswatini sees a blink of light at the end of the tunnel after suffering from the consequences of the CVID 19 pandemic, Lindelwa Lindz Mafa and Bongani Dj Tizalami Dube EBIS 2 radio host have introduced a platform which will aim to patch the gap left by the pandemic in the entertainment industry.
The two radio hosts through the Times of Eswatini unveiled swazirythm.com on September 16 with the hope of bringing exciting news to both top and upcoming artist. swazirythm.com is a state of the art one stop website for all artist in Eswatini. The websites was created with the empowerment from New Life Entertainment one of the talent promoters in the country. According to the website's about page, the website is a one-stop hub for music performed by artists from the Kingdom of Eswatini. SWAZI RHYTHM is a celebration of Eswatini’s diverse forms of music, from urban contemporary to traditional music, all homebrewed in the Kingdom.
Visitors to the site will also have access to the latest entertainment news in the country and music resources from top as well as upcoming artists. This site will be of benefit to fans, manager, promoters and other artists too because they will gain more information about their favourite artist. They will not only get the artists' information but will also gain access to their music through external links to sites like Soundcloud which are embeded on their profiles.
While content is available to user for free, swazirhythm.com will eventually offer premium and exclusive content in due course. The website also feature a music review section where by Dj Tizalami and guest writers will review and comment on new releases from eswatini musicians.
