As we close 2023, all eyes and ears turn to Lady Sphesh who recently released her debut projects with Dj Tpz. Entitled Ngabe Yini and Nguwe which has been making trends and opening doors for the up and coming artist who is based in Eswatini.
Baby steps to cat walks
Recently being featured in the national television, Lady Sphesh announced on her Facebook that Nguwe is enjoying over half a million listeners across all digital platforms and still growing while Ngabe Yini has scooped the top spot in the Afrocharts Top 10 Global out besting songs by popular artists like the Qwabe Twins. Lady Sphesh has been in the entertainment industry for more than 5 years working mostly with one of Eswatini's producers TN$ Savvy. She has released songs like Amagugu, Imphumelelo and Call to mention a few. Her career had its ups and downs but this is one of her huge ups so far. She wass nominated in the Zikomo Africa awards and there may be more nominations and awards coming her way from this project.
A lasting impression or a bluff?
Artists like Young Zesh, Tiyas, Nomalungelo Dladla and Sandz had also got the chance to wear the crown. Regrettably, all of these artists did not last long in the presence of fame or was the crown too heavy for them? It so uncertain to whether she will keep the crown and maintain the top spot or it will be another two minutes glow.
Without a King
The queen's socials remain dead and silent about Percy P who in a while flooded Lady Sphesh social media profiles. The two had been in the game and a couple for more than three years and their relationship was open to the public. This year was totally different from the rest as Percy P's name and face was excluded from Lady's Sphesh's socials. In fact her relationship status on her page reflects a huge SINGLE. Does this mean the queen is searching for a new king?
